Thanks for the terrific time I had fishing with you at Stick Marsh 13 last week. My trip with you in Feb 2012 was awesome, but this year was even better. As you are aware, I caught over 20 large mouth bass and 8 of them over 6 lbs. The smallest was 3 lbs and they averaged 5 lbs. I can’t wait for next year. I still can’t believe that you were able to catch (retrieve) the pliers you accidentally dropped in the water with a bar magnet or(it seemed with ease) to retrieve a hooked pelican and remove the hook from its bill. Thanks again for all the great memories. p.s. I really like your new boat..

I really enjoy going fishing with Onecastaway’s Capt. Dean Herdman . He really knows where the fish are and what to use to get them to hit. Going out with Dean is not like a typical customer / Capt. relationship, it’s more like fishing with an old friend you haven’t seen for a while. Deans’ knowledge of the lakes we’ve fished, his skill to consistently put you onto Big Bass, coupled with his sense of humor and professionalism always make for an excellent experience. I highly recommend taking a guided fishing trip with Bass Professional Guide Service.

Capt. Dean Herdman knows large-mouth bass. Period. He knows the Stick Marsh/Farm 13 and he knows what it takes to boat the big ones. For the past 6 years me, my dad, my wife, and my neighbors have had the experience of a-lifetime fishing with Capt. Dean. Please don’t get me wrong, we spent our lives bass fishing on the Colorado River, but the number of huge bass we catch with Capt. Dean is incredible! If you want to learn about the Stick Marsh/Farm 13, and catch some quality fish, Capt. Dean is the guide you want to go with. He knows the patterns of the fish, and what they are biting on. We have had the amazing pleasure of seeing lots of wildlife, and we even saw a cougar for a few seconds (WOW!) It’s not a complete trip to central Florida without spending time fishing with Dean.

Tori and I finally got back to Maryland today. I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed the day of fishing we spent with you. It really was the highlight of our trip. Tori has talked about it every day. We fished several other places during our time in Florida but nothing compared to the fabulous time we had with you. Thank you so much.

I never thought it possible to surpass the October day of a year ago at Stickmarsh when Jim Freeman and I landed 60 tremendous bass. We both caught personal records that day. Well it happened Friday when Roger Hutchison and I landed 60 healthy Stickmarsh lunkers. With numerous bass over 6 lbs and one passing the 9 lb. mark, we both set personal records. With 42 boated by 12 noon it was quite a day. Even with the heavy wind on Saturday we landed 20 hefty ones. Thanks again for my best day on the water. Of course I will return next year in pursuit of that elusive 10 pounder. Thanks for your great hospitality.
